Who doesn’t love a party? Sure, the more introverted among us may need a few minutes (or some liquid courage) to warm up, but once we get going, we’re like kids at a playground – when it’s time to go home, we don’t want to leave.
This month has felt like one long party. It started with the Evernight Retreat where I and my fellow Evernightistas celebrated Evernight Publishing’s 6th birthday by live-streaming on Facebook from our swanky hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The celebration continued into the following week, with Evernight authors taking turns hosting – including yours truly.
Never having done a Facebook party before, I was a bit nervous. What if no one came? What if I was plagued with trolls or people who wanted to convert me to a life free or sin, or send me photos of their body parts, or both? What if nobody liked my onion dip?
Fortunately, none of the above happened. I had a great time chatting with Evernight readers and authors. Not only that, but I met some fabulous new people.
Isn’t that what parties are all about?
In fact, I had such a great time that I decided to host another one – Philomena and Sue’s Two Friends Pimp Your Books Bookathon. If you joined me there, thank you! What a fun, lively bunch. And if you missed out, put these dates on your calendar:
November 7th – The Romance Reviews Year End Splash Party – Join me for games and giveaways galore.
December 16th – I’ll be joining fellow ER authors to help Cameron Allie celebrate the launch of her debut novel My Mistletoe Master.
Oh, and here’s one more:
November 14th – For my birthday, I’ll be flipping the script and giving YOU a present. Look for it in your inbox.
And speaking of presents, I’ve got a couple of scarily good ones for my Hazel Hughes News Subscribers: A sale and a story.
Today only on All Romance Ebooks, all of my titles are 50% off! Fill your virtual bookshelves while prices are low.
And here, dug up from the musty archives of Hazel Hughes Romance is a sexy, spooky vampire short.
